1. Lack of fiber in the diet. This leads to irregular bowel movements and hard stool. Straining to pass hard stool does injury to rectal tissues. 3. Poor diet. An excessive amount of low fiber processed foods, too much of your caloric intake in saturated fats, and insufficient vitamins, minerals, friendly bacteria and phytochemical materials that the body needs. This weakens the body and its tissues. Hemorrhoids are just one of the effects.

Many people don't get an adequate amount of the nutrients that only come from whole-foods or dietary supplements. Therefore our bodies lack the nourishment needed to keep us strong and healthy. We will need to eat healthy diets or take many supplements to prevent these deficiencies.

4. Sitting for extended periods in the same position. This tends to disrupt correct blood flow to posterior tissues, causing damage to veins and surrounding flesh. It can result in varicose vein effects and hemroids. For those who must sit, move around. Stand up and move about frequently. And/or get a very good cushion that does not disrupt normal blood flow.

Whether or not you get hemorrhoids would depend mainly on how well you maintain your body. Hemroids are a result of poor body maintenance, much like obesity, type 2 diabetes, ulcers and a number of other too-common ailments.

It is really much better to take the time and expend the effort on maintaining your body in good condition, than it is to be worrying about how to heal hemorrhoids or how to get rid of hemroids!

"Preventive maintenance" is really a lot cheaper (and less unpleasant) than "breakdown maintenance"!
